Procurement Specialist

. Optimizing procurement operations in China, driving cost efficiency, strengthening supplier relationships.

. Manage the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation and purchase order
creation. Act as a commodity manager for a variation of commodities such as raw materials, auxiliary materials and supplies, packing materials and manufactured parts according to drawings.

. Analyze procurement potentials to drive cost-saving and efficiency initiatives.

. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to expand the existing supplier network. Manage the request for quotes (RFQ) process to ensure competitive pricing.

. Create detailed price comparisons and benchmarks.

. Facilitate the Ｏnboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring alignment with company standards.

. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, fostering continuous improvement.

. Negotiate delivery terms and conditions to achieve optimal agreements.

. Ensure compliance with all local procurement-related regulations and standards.

. Conduct supplier audits to verify adherence to specified regulations and quality standards.

. Perform quality checks to maintain high standards of goods and services.

. Address and resolve supplier-related complaints effectively and promptly.

. Maintain master data records.

Job Requirements
. At least five years of relevant professional experience in procurement within an internationally operating mechanical

engineering company or a globally positioned production and supply chain organization.

. Experience in procurement, with a strong understanding of sourcing and purchasing processes.

. Experience in negotiation and targeted communication skills.

. Proficient in Microsoft Applications with a strong IT skills. Prior experience with ERP software, particularly SAP is preferred.
